Arrival Story:
While researching breeds and completing online testing for our best breed, great pyrenees came up time and again. The only problem is they are virtually unheard of in this area. I gave up on it and was going to our second choice, boxer, when I checked one final time on petfinder and there was Abby. However she had an applicant already and was 1.5 hrs away. I went to 4 shelters looking at dogs and almost chose one but it didn't feel perfect. What the heck, lets just go and see Abby. We immediately fell in love with her and since it was an hour until closing time and the hold on her would be released, we waited. Finally, she was ours. Abbs was just meant to be a member of our family.
