Although she has had a rough start, she is now safe and a cherished member of my family. Bio: Last December, 2003, Aryana was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease. She is doing okay so far, but she is on medication. In February, 2004 she also underwent breast cancer surgery. She had to have them removed on one side. Although I never intended her to have puppies (which she did not), she was not spayed until 5 yrs old and apparently unbeknownst to me, this can happen if not spayed early on. Fortunately she came through okay, and I have become educated about speutering my dogs. Latest News: On August 2nd, at 2:00 am, my precious Aryana crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was 13 yrs. & 9 months old.
She had been diagnosed with Cushing's Disease almost 4 years ago.
She came down with Bloat and rather then put her through any more pain, I let her go.

You came into my life at a mere three weeks of age. You were so little I could fit you into my pocket. Things were pretty bad then and I did not know how I could take care of you as I could barely take care of myself.
Life was pretty rough those first couple years ... and you and I traveled through some dark places. But you needed me and I loved you. And for you, I gathered the strength to change things around and make a better life for us. You saved my life.
You are my heart and soul, my precious girl. And as you age too quickly it hurts. But I will be here for you til the end. I love you my sweets.
