Birthday: October 29th 2002 Likes: fetch, zoomies, stuffed kongs Pet-Peeves: BSL ! & When we leave the house (work & school) and she has to stay home. Having her ears cleaned. Favorite Toy: Any type of ball. Favorite Food: Hot dogs- Favorite Walk: Anywhere Best Tricks: Fetch ! Arrival Story: I found her right after she had been hit by a car on the freeway. Her left rear leg had been broke and her right rear leg was so shredded by a tire that they had to tape it together, because there was not enough skin left to sew. I originally placed her on PBRC and tried to find her a home, but on Christmas Eve she came home to stay. Bio: On June 22nd, 2004 Roxie underwent ACL surgery on the same leg that had had a pin in it. After the surgery she developed an infection in the leg and remained in the hospital, but has since then recovered. She has been on activity restriction since then, and she hates that. She can't wait until she can run around again.

Precious Roxie. From the moment our paths crossed I knew there was something special about you. The mere fact that you were alive after the trauma you had endured, not to mention still running down the street, should have been a clue.
I think I should have named you "Joy" for your sheer joy at being alive.
You came into my life when Aryana was first diagnosed with Cushing's. It was a very sad time for me, and I thought my world had crashed, but your antics made me smile again. I secretly longed to keep you way before I admitted there was no way I could ever give you up. And I was so happy when we figured out a way to keep you and Aryana, safely.
You make me laugh every single day with your silliness. You are the comedian in this house. You have taught me to become a better owner. You inspired me to learn more about your breed and do what I can to fight against the stupid BSL that surrounds it.
You put up with all the silly stuff I make you do, always with a big smile on your face. I love it when you "sing" to me every day. I love your energy and zest for life. You are truly a princess. I love you to death my goofy girl.
