Birthday: December 5th 2007 Likes: Playing non stop!!! Pet-Peeves: Being chased by strange dogs. Favorite Toy: Does she just have to have one??? Favorite Food: Orijen, Merrick canned food, Tripe, RAW (with veggies, yogurt, and flax oil), and anything else that is food!!! Favorite Walk: Anywhere as long as it is with Mom. Best Tricks: Blows bubbles in a bowl of water, shy puppy, spin, greet ~ gives a paw as soon as she sits in front of you, give me five ~ touches hand five times, and high five ~ she jumps up and hits your hand with her paw and then sits. Arrival Story: I found Charlee via the internet in February 2008...her breeder was in Saskatchewan. I instantly fell in love with her photo and contacted the breeder right away to see if she was still available...and she was! YIPPEE, I found my next special girl. After a few days of seeing more photos of my girl and talking with the breeder, I decided to call her Charlee. My good friends, Joanne and Ken, decided to take one of her sisters and they made arrangements for pick-up...unfortunately, I had to work so I couldn't go. On February 16th the puppies made it home after a day of unpleasant carsickness...kinda glad I missed that but I felt bad for my friends. After work I went to pick up my girl and meet her sister, Maggie. As expected, she was the cutest puppy ever!!! We stayed for a bit of a visit and then headed home for some bonding time...thankfully, I had the next three days off.
Charlee is settling in nicely to our family and to my surprise, my other BC, Ditto is tolerating her new little sister very well...she normally hates puppies, but it is like she knows that I partially got this new pup for her as a companion, since she has been alone since June 2007.
Charlee is a typical ball of energy, but we keep her busy with lots of activities. Her and her sister will be starting puppy classes on March 16, so we are looking forward to that...she is already learning lots of tricks before we get started, so I am sure she will be the smartest puppy in her class =D The Groups I'm In: ..:: Herding Breeds Association ::..
