Pet-Peeves: He hated it if he felt I was in danger.
Favorite Toy: Besides the bottles, he loved old socks.
Favorite Food: He would eat anything.
Favorite Walk: We owned land with horses, and he loved to run around the corrals.
Best Tricks: He was fast. The way he ran was awe-inspiring.
Arrival Story: This precious life came into mine when I was sixteen years old. He was the smallest of a large litter of Shepherds, the first pup to approach me, and the dog destined to be my friend and protector during a most difficult time.
Bio: Mickey was such a sweet and strong boy. He walked by my side with a grace and gentleness that when I think of him (even though more than twenty years have passed), I still pause in a silent prayer of love and thankfulness. We lived during a time of sadness and violence brought on by a broken family. Mickey was my friend.
