Favorite Food: Royal Canin food, doggie treats

Favorite Walk: Down a farm road, jogging in town, any hike

Arrival Story: Tango is our brand new baby. We got her on March 28th, 2008 at 1 day short of 9 weeks old. We loved the breed when we met a Dogo at a rescue, and began to research it online and in books. When the rescue Dogo found a permanent home, we went looking for a breeder. We found a great breeder (Debonair Dogos) and are so excited to add her to our family. Tango was the pick of the litter. The day we got her, she weighed in at 17 1/2 pounds! She is easy-going also.

Bio: Tango's mom and dad are champion Dogos, as are many of her brothers and sisters. We are going to try dog shows with her, and we are definitely going to try out herding and hiking. We are also considering agility and Ultimate Air Dog.
We live on a farm so herding will be great for all of us if she likes it.

Forums Motto: Is there anything cuter than a Dogo?

I don't know why people make this such a big day. No big deal for me really.
Winter was long and ugly. I definitely get cabin fever. I was born to run and a house just does not cut it. I am so glad it is spring. I come in very muddy from playing. I have had lots of baths. Check out my spring picture in the mud. I really need "spring cleaning"! Life with my new Greater Swiss Mountain Dog brother is great. We play and play and play. He is really nice to me. He does not let me get away with my tricks however. Mom says this is good, I don't really agree.
I am really excited to start hiking and swimming again. Check out Eiger's page also!

Well, I am ONE today! Happy Birthday to me. It was a rather fun year. I went on hikes, swam in the pool, went to several doggie classes, went jogging with my human mom in the mornings, and got a new puppy brother who is 5 months old now. He is a great friend. I met lots of new friends on dogster. They really helped my mom to learn that I am smart and sensative, and they shared fun stories about their lives with Dogos. I even had a playdate with another Dogo that we met on Dogster. I am now a healthy 95 pounds on my birthday. Here's to another great year.

Well, I can't believe that Fall has come and gone! It has been a whirlwind season, alright!
I have had a herding lesson with sheep. That was interesting. Mom says that we will keep doing it for awhile. I'm not a natural to it, but I do sure love checking the sheep out and running them around. Maybe I'll stick with it. I also need to find an agility class. I have way too much energy.
The kids are back in school and I now go out jogging with my mom when it is not too cold. I need to get a dog vest for winter. As a Dogo, I get cold in the winter time. Mom can't believe that she is actually going to buy clothes for a dog, but you should see me shake on the cold days.
I have learned some fun new tricks like "touch" and "hide and seek". I am really into chewing now, so my mom is letting me try out all sorts of bones and things. I still prefer the furniture. It gets me into trouble from time to time.
I have heard that two kittens are coming home soon. This could be fun :) I will have to learn to be gentle with them as my paw is as big as they are.
Well, hope everyone out there is having a great Thanksgiving.
