A Day in the Life of Charlie

We'll meet at the Rainbow Bridge

It is with great sadness to write that my beautiful Charlie has gone to the Rainbow Bridge on July 5th, 2008. He did not make it to his 9th birthday which was July 31st. He was the gentlest and most wonderful of companions and I am devastated.

I thank all of you for your views, bones, gifts and friendship through this website.

Charlie is now watching over all of us as he watched over me for almost 9 wonderful years.

Pup Pals

Wow - I'm so excited - mommy received so many e-mails to make me their pup pal - I wish I could meet all my new pals for real. My favorite thing next to taking walks is meeting all my doggy friends - we sniff each other and chase each others tails - sometimes, because my ears are so long, they'll even grab my ears - OUCH -that hurts! Anyway, I hope some of you will leave me a bone because I love to chew them - Mommy and I are going to go browsin' now so we can leave some bones too. Talk to you later.

My first day on Dogster.com

Today mommy put my first pictures up on this website called Dogster. It is so embarrassing - she is so proud of me and brags about me all the time. I would much rather be outside chasing pigeons and squirrels than watching her put my pictures up but what can I do. I tried to get her attention by snatching some clean laundry off of the freshly folded laundry pile but that was a big mistake - boy, those mommy looks are scary. But I just give her those big, sad, red, hounddog eyes and she can't be angry with me anymore. Oh, Oh, Oh, I think we are getting ready for a walk - bye for now
