Arrival Story:
I foster for the local humane society and she WAS one of those dogs; she was surrendered by her family. Honey is a senior dog but you would never know it, especially when she is jumping the yard fence! She jumps IN as often as she jumps out - it just depends on where i am coz that is where she wants to be!
UPDATE April 2008: Soooo, i am now an official foster flunky, having adopted a foster dog. She is so wonderful and sweet, Chong loves her, Bean tolerates her, and my mom's young adult female ADORES her, was ready to let her move in, even opened the dog door for Honey to be able to go through!
When i adopted Honey i got her rabies tag and called to check on her due date, turns out the vet was local and i learned that her family had her since puppyhood, had her spayed at a year, so i was relieved to know her life had not been one of moving from home to home.
Bio:
Honey is a real doll, she has been getting along with everyone, canine or feline - but chases the equines!
She is so playful and energetic, and very loving. Honey sleeps in the bed, cuddles on the couch, she stretches out on her back and lounges like the princess she is. I have been taking her to my mom's in the mountains and she is always well ahead of the pack of us on the trail, plenty of energy, altho she knows how to quiet down and rest when we get back.
Honey loves the snow and actually makes snow angels when she rolls.
