I have a sister

Way back last year my mom thought that I would like to have a sister to play with. I don't know where she got THAT idea from, but in October she took me for a long drive. We met a stranger with a lot of dogs and we took one of them from her and brought her home. I kept telling my mom that she made a mistake and that we should take this dog back to her human - but mom never listened to me at all. Now I am stuck with this sister. Anyway, her name is Willow and she is a pushy dog. She always has to be first at everything, she has to have all the toys and she jumps and whines to get mom's attention. She is not mannerly at all, like I am, sitting back and waiting patiently for mom to pick me up.

Well, I guess I am stuck with Willow now that we put her picture on here.

Off Leash Park

Yesterday was nice and sunny, a little cool, but I did not mind it too much in my fleece sweater. Mom took me to something called an Off Leash Park. I cried most of the way there, just in case it was a new way to go to the Doggie Doctor. When we go there, Mom did the strangest thing. She took my leash off! She told me that I could run and play, but I did not think that sounded like a good idea, so I just stayed right by her. Feederman (Mom's fella) just laughed and said "I told you so". After a little while Mom started to throw my ball around, and it seemed like it might be fun to chase after it. It was neat. I could run and there was no leash to hold me back. I think I liked it. Maybe they will take me back again another time.

Wow - a Magic Leash

Guess what. My Mom bought me a magic leash! It is great. I can run ahead of her when we go for a walk. I Love it! The only negative thing about it is, whenever my Mom says come back - the darn leash gets shorter. The best part is when we get to the really big sidewalk part of our walk, I get to run down the middle. Mom says it is a street, not a sidewalk, and I need to be really careful (but I have her to watch out for me).
My mom has been home with me for 3 whole weeks, this is great. Mom says that she has to go back to work on Monday and we are going to miss each other a lot during the days. No more cuddles on the couch in the middle of the day. I don't think that I am going to like that very much.
Mom ordered some new winter clothes for me from our favorite website www.dogedesigns.com . I am not sure what that means, but she says I am going to be very warm.
