Arrival Story:
Lilly, along with her 5 siblings, were found in a dumpster in Pontiac, MI in the middle of January by a kind homeless man. He brought them to a police station where they were sent to Pontiac Animal Rescue to be cared for. The puppies were just 2 weeks old and all were emaciated, had ear and eye infections, and terrified. After being nurtured back to good health the puppies were ready for adoption. My husband and I were watching the evening news when we saw the story of the puppies and we knew we had to have one! The next day my husband went to the animal shelter to apply for one of the puppies. A few weeks later, on Valentine's Day, we went to the shelter to pick out our baby and the love of our lives, Lilly!
