Arrival Story:
Belle was a gift to me by my daughter. After visiting Scotland I knew that I wanted to get back to my Scotties. I had had many prior. I already had a rescue dog, Sam, who mixed yorkie and beagle and beautiful.

Bio:
Belle came from the Rococo Kennels in Mass. As it happened she had inhereted some unpleasant aspects. A pyloric closure and worse, pulmonary fibrosis. The former was corrected by Dr Frezzo and the other problem is controlled by daily medicine. I was very pleased that I had her as I was able to give her the very best in medical care. Belle whelphed 6 beautiful Scottie pups on April 2, 2002 One pup, Fiona, stayed with her longer and they became quite close. When Fiona left Belle went into a depression. Since I already had Sam, a resue dog and could not handle a third I took a 4 week rescue/feral kitten in. Belle immediately took to her, mothered her and raised her, while Sam became the disciplinarian aunt. We lost Sam 2 years ago with a brain tumour.

Typical scottie with her floor length kilt and beard. Perfect proportions had she not been ill she would have been a show dog.
