I like to play hide and seek with my mom and my sisters. I also like to play Monkey on the Middle!
Squirrels can climb trees, alas Bella cannot. There is also a cat that lives upstairs who refuses to talk or play with me. I never stop trying to sneak up there to find out why!
My stuffed purse and my stuffed hamburger, Arnie Armadillo and anything of Maddie's that Auntie brings to work!
Are you kidding?! Everything! Especially whatever is in Maddie's bowl. Sometimes mom gives me baby carrots and also frozen peas. She wants me to live forever so she analyzes everything I eat. (don't tell her about the squirrel poop)
Anywhere my paws will take me, but especially Rabbit Alley!
Sit, down, stay, come, shake paw, kiss, bang and roll over, hide and seek
I had sadly lost my beloved 12 year old Cocker mix, Daisy, in early December. My two girls (who have pretty much grown up and flown the nest) thought i might be lonely and surprised me on Christmas morning with this bundle of energy! My old girl Daisy was pretty laid back, so this one is a challenge! Bella is smart and sweet...I think we will grow into each other nicely.
Bella's Dad is Buck's Hit the Road Jack. He is the 2005 National Gun Dog Champion.
Run like the wind - eat like a piggy!

Hi everyone! I have some time today to talk about my life so far cuz yesterday I got spayed, so Mommy says I can't go for walks or runs or even jump on the sofa! (don't tell her, but I already did that this morning, whoops!). I want to tell her that I won't do more than I am able to but she is so busy worrying, she won't listen. So while Mommy is making me have quiet time, let me tell you about my life so far.
I was born in Nebraska. My first Mommy is a breeder of Brittanys. She and her husband Joe Luisi own Marjo's Brittanys in Trenton, NJ. We were tooling around Nebraska in their huge RV because sometimes they go on the road with their award winning Brits to go to shows and field trials and stuff. My 8 brothers and sisters and I came home to the farm in New Jersey. Marsha and Joe decided to keep three of us for themselves and one by one nice people came to take my brothers ands sisters to new forever homes. I thought I was going to stay on the farm forever, but little did I know that there where two very determined young ladies out there who wanted one of Marsha and Joe's puppies. You see their Mommy had lost their best-loved dog, Daisy on December 7 2007 and they thought she was SO lonely without her. These two girls are grown up and only around on the weekends, so they felt REALLY bad. (I think they were SO lonely without Daisy too!) These girls - Nicole and Christen - called every breeder in the country to find a puppy for their Mommy. They finally convinced Marsha and Joe to let me go to their house to keep Mommy company and Marsha and Joe said yes! They were so happy. It was a covert operation. They drove for five hours with their little brothers to pick me up in New Jersey. Boy, they must have wanted me so badly to do that. Those boys are a handful. Mommy had no idea, even when her Uncle Bill spilled the beans on Christmas Eve and asked how her new addition was. Mommy thought Uncle Bill was just losing it and suspected nothing. My new sisters hid me at a friends house until Christmas morning. Mommy was in bed in the morning and she awoke when she heard Nicole say "Mommy, I have your Christmas present....". Mommy rolled over and I have to say she had a look of shock on her face! I tried to lick it off when she took me in her arms! So there I was on Christmas morning with my new family! They sat in a circle and tried to think of a name for me while I chewed a bone. They were STUMPED. Marsha and Joe called me Minnie Pearl. NO WAY was Mommy gonna let me keep that name. Christen suggested Belle or Bella and Mommy said "Bella! that's it" and I immediately jumped up and kissed everyone so they knew that it was the right name. My full name is Bella Kazam cuz my dog mommies name is Alakazam.
So that is my first memory of how I came to live with my new Mommy. I have more stories to tell, but Mommy just found me on the sofa chewing my rawhide. She just shakes her head at me and says there is NOTHING that will slow me down. She is right. I really want to go for a walk, even though Dr. Dymond said to take it easy. Dr. Dymond doesn't know that NOTHING stops Bella Kazam for long!
