The place called "the Vet"

So, about a week ago my mommy and I went back to that horrible place, you know, that place called "the Vet". I knew it wasn't over.
I was cool and everything even when they took me into that tiny little room. But all of a sudden that lady came in there and as soon as I took a sniff, I knew what was up. She tried sweet talking me and she even tried giving me a doggy bone, but I was not digging it at all. I knew what they were up to and I wasn't gonna let them think it was ok with me. Well anyway, the Doc came in and he gave me some more of those things called shots. I handled it better this time though. The bad thing is that I heard my mommy talking to him and they said I have to come back in just a few weeks to have something done called surgery. I'm not sure what it is, but I don't like the sound of it. They said it's called "getting fixed". All I know is that I hope these trips to "the vet" end soon.

"OUCH, that really hurt"

Just the other day my mommy took me to this strange place. At first it seemed soooo wonderful because of the many different smells. But, not too long after we got there this seemingly wonderful place wasn't so wonderful anymore. The reason for this was because this other human took me and my mommy into this very small room. In this room I was placed on this cold, hard table and this human that I didn't even know started bothering me. At first it wasn't so bad because during this time I was given this very tasty treat that I really liked a lot. But suddenly there was another strange human in the room and this human began to bother me even more. Thankfully this didn't last that long but just when I thought it was all over they both came back, and the worst of it was about to begin.. One of the humans tried giving me another treat but this time I wasn't biting. I knew something was up because my mommy seemed a little nervous and I saw 2 long pokey things that I didn't like much. And before I knew it those long pokey things were being poked into me. The first one wasn't so bad but that second one was a doozie. I just cried and cried and cried. I cried soooo much that even my little sis started to cry. Thank goodness that my mommy was there because she held me for a very long time to help me feel better. It worked. Thank goodness it was over. After just a few more minutes we were finally out of there. Well that's my story for today, but I have a strange feeling it's not over.
