[Pawrent Here]
Woah! Tonight I was on the computer at 11pm like the cool person I am, and all of a sudden I hear noise at the screen door. [We live in Florida where it's getting insanely hot, therefore all the doors are open.]
Up shot Lobo and Tankers. Someone was trying to break in, thinking we were all asleep due to the dark rooms and low TV volume. They barked like crazy, and Lobo slammed against the door , scaring the guy away!
From now on, doors are closed by 7:30pm, TV will be loud, and at least a small light is staying on!
Though Tank would defend me with his life, it sure is comforting having a big dog with an even bigger bark around the house.
I LOVE MY PUPS!

I went to my pawrent's Vet Tech class the other day. T'was fun! There were lots of animals and people, and everyone loved me. I was a bit nervous, and one of the Beagles attacked me, but it all worked out once I hit the Agility field. For some reason I found the Walky scary, yet not the A-Frame. Got over my fear of the See-Saw rather quickly.
Tank said the students over there were looking for me today. It was his turn to go, though. He's got a lot more stamina than I do, and did a bunch of laps around the Agility field and still came back home with a ton of energy. He said I'd get used to it after a while.

Know what? I'm actually starting to like this place. There sure are a lot of rules, though. I had to learn "Sit" and now have to use it everywhere. Before I go out the door, at the end of the sidewalk, before I get my leash taken off...
Who even needs a leash anyway? I got out the other day and had the time of my life running like a Greyhound all over the neighbors' yards. My new pawrent and great aunt had a good ol' time trying to catch me. Finally they sat on the ground and tried to grab me as I ran by. They didn't think it'd be that easy, did they? The aunt twisted her back pretty bad when I pulled out of her arms. Finally my pawrent did a flying tackle that got me down. I gotta respect a twolegger that can actually catch a wild animal like me!
Ugh. One thing I do not like is having to be crated. As soon as I'm finished eating I go straight in for a half hour, then get taken out to avoid having accidents in the house. Accidents? Sure, we'll go with that. Anyhow, tonight I simply did not have to go, so the cycle of Eat > Crate > Outside > Crate > Outside > Crate > Outside took forever, until I finally got the urge to go. After I got in, Tank and I played a bunch and my pawrent made a video of us torturing our great aunt while she tried to sleep.
Know another annoying thing? Baths. I wasn't that bad, though. Whined here and there, but was otherwise a good sport.
All I ever hear is "Good girl," "Good girl," "Good Girl..." Hmm, wonder if I'm going about things right?

Which home is this? 3 or 4? I've been in and out of the shelter so many times. These guys seem nice, but so did all the others. My other families brought me back for jumping the fences. Well, if they really wanted me as a member of the family, they should have kept me inside!
This pawrent said I was here to stay. Hmph. That's what they all say. Still, they don't seem too bad, and I have a new big brother to play with. (Though "big" is a relative term.) I'm kept inside all the time, which is a great change from the outside cages at the shelter. Maybe this won't be so bad... After all, Tank IS a funny guy. He likes to box me with his front paws, though I think he's just standing up so we see eye-to-eye (he's a bit vertically-challenged).
Today we went to this place called "Pet Supermarket." I got a big ol' crate that I'm not too crazy about, but they told me they're only going to keep me there until they can trust me alone in the house. Don't see why they have to bother at all, just 'cause I have a fetish for the taste of wooden furniture...
One thing I do like about this new family is I actually get some exercise. I got a lot of energy to burn, and those nice, long walks do just the trick! I didn't get that in the last few houses. I'll let you know how things go!
