Arrival Story:
I had been intrigued by Basenjis for a few years, but never owned one. My beloved 16 yr old Border Collie mix, Shadow, had just passed away and I was dogless for maybe a week or two. The house was just way too quiet. I got online and searched for a Basenji pup and found this little guy who was 5 months old and needed a home. Within a day my husband and I drove 10 hours round trip to pick up our boy. We now have a little Basenji sister for him.....it's never a dull moment around here, we love it!
