Arrival Story:
Bam Bam is a rescue dog. We had a pomeranian who passed away from cancer in Nov 2006 and by Feb 2007 I knew I needed to find another dog so I started looking at rescues. I found a dog that I was interested in and headed out early in the morning to meet her at an adoption event. By the time we arrived, the dog had been adopted. We were told that a Pomeranian would be arriving later in the morning if we wanted to wait -- so we waited, and waited, and waited. About 3:30 in the afternoon Bam Bam arrived. I took one look at him and knew that he would be going home with us.

Bio:
5/21/2008 - Today Bam Bam left us. It was so unexpected. He had an absessed tooth. Such a simple procedure. But the anesthesia was too much for him. We knew his heart wasn't perfect and he had trachea issues, but we didn't know that his lungs were so compromised. He wasn't able to pull himself back out of the anesthesia. He gave it all he had and he fought a good fight. It was such a short 15 months that we had with him but he accomplished so much in that short time. We rescued BamBam, but BamBam saved me from self destructing. We bonded immediately -- he was my soul mate. It was as if he could read my mind and feelings. He knew exactly what to do to make me feel better. They are not "just dogs" -- they are our friends and they love us truly unconditionally. He was such a wonderful "Little Man" and he'll be in our hearts forever. I'll love you sweet boy -- until we meet again. Love, MommyDog and DaddyMan
