Bailey's Adventures.

Learning to swim.

Last weekend mom and dad took me to the river with Roxy. She jumped right in but I was kinda scared so I stayed close to the edge. A little bit later I decided to be brave and venture out. I guess I went a little too far because I was teetering on a rock trying not to fall off and when I did I couldn't touch the ground anymore. I didn't know what to do so I just sank and bobbed up and down a few times. I was very scared and I saw daddy running to help me, but then my feet started moving and I could stay above the water! Woohoo! I guess I was going the wrong way though cause daddy pulled me back to shore. Mommy said I made her older or something and to never do that to her again and I have to stay close from now on until I take swimming lessons ....Aw mom, I'll be fine.

No More Stitches!

Woo Hoo! Mom says I get my stitches (and the two out of four remaining staples) out tomorrow! That means I get to go to the dog park again and play. Not that I haven't been romping around the house, but mom can't yell at me to settle down anymore. It's not fair I tell ya, all the other dogs get to play. Why did I have to get an owie? Anyways, I'm just glad it's over with, it's been two whole weeks.

And I can't wait to see my doctor tomorrow, I just love all the nice people there. I think its my second favorite place to go (besides the dog park of course). It's basically my second home I'm there so much, but that's another story (I always seem to have problems). Well, I'll check back later, but now I must get into some mischeif ; ).

Vacation

Last week the whole family left us dogs for a "vacation". They left one of Mom's friends to take care of us dogs and watch the house. I don't know why, we would have been just fine on our own. He was pretty cool though, he took us hiking and to the park every day. I got into something that made me sick though while she was gone, but I'm not telling her what it was. Then when she came back Gizmo spilled all the bird food and I ate so much of it that it gave me a stomach ache. Got sick again and puked under Mom's bed. I thought she wouldn't see it there, but she heard me doing it. She didn't get mad at me though so it was okay. I'm sooooo glad they're back. Mom said she missed me and I grew so much. "You sprouted legs out of nowhere" she says. I just wish she would let me have the run of the house like the other dogs since I'm such a big girl now. Well, I hope Mom doesn't go on another vacation for a long time cause I kinda missed her too.
