I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!

I have a family now and am truly a happy girl! Thank you to everyone who sent me well wishes and to everyone who was interested in making me a part of their family. IT MAKES ME FEEL SO LOVED AND SO SPECIAL! I really needed that after my hard life. NOW I AM IN A FOREVER HOME! Thanks, again!

Our Trip to the Vet.

I took Pearl to the vet today. She has ear infections in both her ears, which we have medication for and are treating now. She might going deaf, poor girl. Also, they gave me a medicated shampoo because her skin was a little red. The vet said her heart and lungs sound good. Pearl does really well letting us put the flush and ear drops in her ears. Hopefully, after a week of taking her medication, her ears will be all better. She did such a great job! She's a good girl!

Personality Update!

Pearl is a very calm girl and likes to lay on her pillow for long periods of time, just watching whats happening around her. She is very delicate and you would not want to play rough with her. She is not fully potty trained, but I am working on that with her. Pearl likes to lay in her kennel, but with the door open. She doesn't mind if you close it at night, when you go to sleep. She does fine with baths, getting her hair cut, and having her nails trimmed. Also, she doesn't seem to be bothered by riding in the car. Pearl loves to eat! You have to monitor her food intake. Since, she is older it will be easy for her to become overweight. I think she would be great for an older couple or a couple/single person without young children.
