Arrival Story: Our family had lost our 5 year old wheaten terrier, Kona, during the Thanksgiving holiday due to the faults and mistakes of Biscuits and Bath. A few months later, the family was in complete depression and we started to research breeds. We took a few tests online and decided a French Bulldog was for us. My mom and I walked into our pet store, Raising Rover (right across the street from the 92st Y in Manhattan), and there were two frenchies playing around. A bigger male was picking on the smaller fawn colored female. We decided she was for us. She was 5 pounds and about 9 weeks old when we bought her. The pet store owners were very attached to her. (Raising Rover is the best pet store around, they take exceptional care for their animals, and only have a few in at a time). A few goodbyes and a new puppy later we were at home setting up her play pen. Violet (named after my favorite color) was shaking on my dad's lap and was a bit overwhelmed. My whole family loves her and is very happy we ended up with our little baby frenchie.

Last night, Mom decided to let me sleep in her bed! How exciting! She puppy proofed her whole room and opened my play pen. I was so excited! Then she put me in her bed, oh it was so warm and comfy. I decided to be a good puppy and jumped off her bed and went potty on the pee-pad. Mommy was so proud of me. I didn't make one mess and now I'm allowed to play around her room during the day too! I like to hangout on Mom's bed most of the time though :). During lunch, Mom gave me this new food, Solid Gold! Its much better tasting then that icky Beneful. It may look good, but be warned, it doesn't do much for my fabulous figure ;). I can't wait to go to the Dog Run today to see all my friends! Bye!
Hi guys! My name is Violet, and I just wanna say hi to everyone! Today was my first day in the snow, and I loved it. Snow in my belly isn't good, but it felt good on my puppy teeth. I had to wear my stupid blue sweater, but it kept me kinda warm in the cold weather of Manhattan. My paws got all wet and I started to shiver. Erin picked me up though and kept me warm on the way home. What a great day!
