Arrival Story:
Heather came from a puppy mill and had never seen the inside of a home, so I volunteered to foster her and socialize her. I failed miserably at fostering and adopted her a month later. UPDATE: We lost Heather to heart disease, February 8, 2006. With the help of wonderful veterinarians, Heather lived a couple of years longer than we expected, and was healthy, happy, and well loved. She was 12 when she died and we will miss her forever.

Bio:
Heather was over-used as a puppymill bitch, frightened, abused, and very nervous around humans. In time she has become a loving, affectionate little girl who loves to go out in public and see people!
