Bandit's Bits

Mom's Party Day

Woof! My sister Dixie and I slept most of yesterday because we were so tired! On Tuesday our Mom spent the day in the kitchen cooking and cleaning, and her human cousin brought two new friends to visit ALL day! Simon and Amy were mostly nice, but their manners were not good. They didn't let their Mom know when they needed to go outside, and MY Mom didn't fuss at them...what's up with that? Then Simon decided that he didn't like my sister, and he kept telling her to go away. I don't get that at all, she helps take care of me and loves everybody. I think her feelings were hurt.
Then after playing and trying to be nice all day and stay out of the kitchen with all of the wonderful smells, Mom has the nerve to send us all upstairs when all of the people came. You just know that some of them were dropping crumbs and probably bigger foods all over the floor. Dixie and I were so disappointed that we didn't get to greet all of the humans, but Simon and Amy were happy to stay upstairs and play with our Uncle. Their idea of playing with him was just to sit on his bed and get petted. That is definitely a great thing, but that is MY SPOT!
Once we were allowed to go back downstairs, most of the people were gone and the floors were clean (but we could smell where the food had been!). I hope we get to go to the dog park today and see our friends there.

Big Play Day

Hey furfriends, I sure hope your day has been as great as mine! My cousins, Buster and Logan came to play all day today. It has been so much fun. We played tug of war, find the treat, chewed on hooves, wrestled and played chase. I am so tired, but it is the best tired I have ever been! I think I should nap now...too tired to woof....zzzzzzzzzzzzz

The Good Life

It is wonderful being a puppy dog here! Daddy gives me lots of treats, there is plenty of food and water all the time, and so many humans to give me lots of love. My sister Dixie is helping take care of me and trying to teach me the rules. Sometimes I mess up on those rules...why can't I run across the street where the smells are SO GREAT????
I occassionally get to go to the dog park, although Dixie gets to go more often, but I nap while she is gone. When she gets back she is kind of tired and I can sometimes beat her then in our wrestling matches that are pawrfect! I love my family and they keep telling me this is forever (whatever that is)
