Uptown walk 10-26-09

For about the last 3 weeks or so when I take my dad to the town park I lead him across the suspension bridge and we head uptown. I used to be kind of afraid of going uptown but not anymore. I used to be afraid of the wheel chair ramps at the corners because they're orange and have funny looking dimples, but my dad was patient with me and I'm finally able to walk on them and not be afraid. I know my dad won't let me do anything that will hurt me, and I won't let him do anything that will hurt us either. Every time we're at the park I always look at the cars that are passing us because I think it's my mom. My mom sometimes surprises us by showing up to see us. I really get a big kick out of my mom coming to see us. Maybe she'll surprise us with a picnic lunch one of these days. I really love when my mom and dad are with me and we're all together. I like showing off for my mom. I'm still anxiously waiting for cold weather and snow. That's all for now and a Big Husky Hug for all.

Weather Changing for the better

Looks like cooler weather is here finally. I've been dragging my dad on longer walks lately. Before you know it we'll get some snow. I can't wait. I'm gonna talk my dad into getting a sled so I can show him how I can drag him around. That's what I was born to do. I want to run but I always outrun my dad. So I guess I'll have to drag him around. That's all for now and Big Husky Hug to all.

Today my dad and I went for a short walk down the country road. During our walk my dad saw a fallen tree limb halfway on the road so he was trying to move it off the road. As he was doing this, he noticed I was pulling on the leash. He looks up at me and saw me breaking up some small limbs that were on the road as well. So to him it looked like I was helping him clear the road. Little does he know that I was just playing. I didn't tell him since he thought it was so cute. It really looked like teamwork. After we were done we continued our walk. Big Husky hug.
