I am a big girl now!

I haven't written for a while but my life keeps me super busy! I finally got rid of that yucky disease that made my hair fall out. Now I'm a pretty girl. I like to play hard every day and sometimes I have to make my brother play with me. He's getting older and he dosn't like to run as much as me! This year was my first Christmas! I had so much fun. Dad had a sock full of toys for me and my brothers. Some of the toys weren't very tough and I chewed holes in them. I was excited for all the presents even though I didn't quite understand what was going on. the whole day was great because people kept coming to our house and I had to sniff them. My friend, Little Man, came to visit but all he wants to do is pee in the floor and run! So I just wanted to say hi to my Dogster friends!

I got to wear my purple harness!!

That means that I got to go in the car with Mom today! We went up to that place that smells like other dogs so that I could get weighed. i met another doggie named Zoe but I dont think she liked me much. She just growled and backed up in her cage. The vet had to see how much i weighed in case she had to change my medicine. She told me that I looked good and I was still retaining my girlish figure. It's fun riding in the car especially when the window is down and I can smell all the good stuff going by.
My brothers were jealous that I got to go with mom but Toad got to play frisbee with Dad so he didn't mind me leaving for a little while. Dad did have to put Oden's harness on too though so he wouldn't get mad that I was wearing mine!
Thank you to everybody who asked about my surgery! All my girl stuff is gone and I feel lots better.

I appresicate the good life

Today started out good because i woke up in bed with Mommy and daddy. I sleep under the bed all night but Daddy lets me get in bed with him and Mommy in the morning so we can snugglepup and then my brothers get jealous and want to get in bed too. By the time we all get in there, Dad doesn't have any place to lay down and we start to protect Mom.
Mom and Dad worked outside today because it was sunny but we were all upset because we couldn't help them, we had to stay in the yard. Mom made it up to us by petting us and brushing us. It felt good.
My belly bled a little today because Nana said I was too "rambunctious". Mom says she doesn't know how they are going to keep me down for 14 days like the vet wants when they can't even keep me calm for four days!!
My brothers don't really understand the kind of life that I have led. They both grew up here where they were always loved and taken care of. But I had a pretty rough life. I was a stray when I was just a little puppy. I lived on the streets and didn't have a nice warm bed to lay in. I had to eat trash and whatever I could find behind people's houses. Lucky for me, a nice guy came along one day and found me. He was living with his mom but he moved out and left me with his mom. His mom was a nice enough lady but didn't know how to take care of a bully breed like me. I had mange and all the hair had come off of my forehead and some places on my back. I wasn't eating good food so I tooted a lot and my belly hurt. I got into lots of trouble in the house so my people tied me to a doorknob in the hall so I couldn't get hurt.
One day, though, my new mom and dad came to my house to see me. I loved them very much. They played with me and let me lick their faces. They left and I was sad, I wanted to go home with them. But the very next day they came back and took me with them.
Their house was like heaven for a pooler like me! They had two other doggies that taught me stuff and I had a big fluffy bed to lay in. They changed my food and my belly stopped hurting. They gave me lots of medicine and love and now my hair is growing back. I get to play hard every day with my brothers and I have a Mommy, Daddy and a Nana that love me very much! Ahh the goodlife!!

Back home

I got back home yesterday. My mom came to the pooley hospital to get me and was I ever happy to see her. I ignored the fact that I just had surgery and jumped right on Mom's lap! Then we got in the car and I had to sit on her lap! It's a good thing the hospital is right around the corner from our house. I was so happy to see my brothers, Oden and Rascal. They licked all over me and smelled me when I got home. My dad blocked off the field that we play in so I wouldn't hurt myself chasing furry things. My nana gave me my new toy and I fell asleep with it under my paws.
Mom says I can't play with my brother for another week or so. I don't like it but I know that Mom knows best. I gotta go help my Dad, he's got a project...

Scared and nervous

My mom told me that I am going to the vet Thursday to get my girl stuff taken out. I am not very excited about this trip cuz I have to stay away from home on Thursday night. Mom says I will feel better when it's all over and I can run with my brother, Toad, again. I have to believe her cuz she's my mom. Dad says that girls have to have girl stuff out so they can't have babies. This is all too much for me to handle so i am going to go to sleep.
