Arrival Story: It was baby Sean's birthday on the day we welcomed Hiro to our family. My oldest brother found him going on sale at http://www.craigslist.org. He was the last one to be chosen from the bunch, and we believe he was the youngest too. Out of all the German Shepherds/Labs, Hiro was not the most attractive one, but we still loved him. =] His original name was Samson and so we kept it. When my brother took him home, Hiro had already peed in the car... He was very nervous at first, but now that Hiro is comfortable in his home he is a bundle of energy!
I can't sleep at night... Why might you ask? Well, excitement, adrenaline rushing through my back, because I have new baby brothers and sisters! Yeah, they are little; about 4 - 5 weeks old. So yes I know I'm a big brother now, but believe me when I say it. I am still a puppy too! I've been a little rough to them though, but hey I can't help it. Kyra(Collie, Border Collie, Australian Shepard) is a fur ball of fun, she's so sweet when you first meet her, and gets frightened of me often. Tehee...Yeah my mouth is as big as her head. The other dog (Collie Mix), well we don't really have a name for it yet but still thinking, if we do keep him... well lets just say "Small in the inside but Humongous in the outside." But he too has a sweet side, he's no different from any other dog, even if he's half blind. Yeah, well thanks for reading. I'm looking forward to helping them make a dogster too, so stay updated. Please add them when they do get it. Bye!
Yesterday was an unforgettably, horrible day. I was going to write it yesterday as well, but I was way too traumatized. It started with a casual walk, a daily thing for me. As we were coming home my neighbor (dog named Max) became excited to see me. He is usually just in his front yard tied by his collar... but not this time.
SNAP! His rope breaks off! Boy, we were we shocked! My owner tried their best to not get scared, because we know that Max can get really hyper, or even dangerous.
So she lead the way close to home, after Max made a quick attempt to get me. Ahh! I was relived when we made it to the door. Phew...
And the story does not stop there!
Later on that day it became really sunny, so my owner and I went out again. This time we stayed at the front. While she ate an apple, my rope was tied to the stair railing, I was enjoying myself, when... A Golden Retriever named BJ appeared.
BJ's family was unloading the car, at the house across us. He didn't have a leash and barked at me almost threateningly. Hahaha... I have to admit every time his owner told him to stop, he cried. Then surprisingly he crossed the road and approached me. He stared barking and came so close, I started backing up. And boy was I lucky when his owner called him. He cried and went back.
After the second incident my owner and I agreed we would end the day by staying inside, safe and sound.
Today was a very fun day. I enjoyed it a lot because I was able to spend quality time with my owners, Adelle and Aisyle. Since it was a half day for them, they came home at 12:00 and brought their friend I've meet before, Kassie. She was very exited so I became excited too! We stayed at the house for a while and I just laid there while they played a few songs on the guitar. Later on we took a longer walk then usual. WOW! The world is BIG. I was able to get exercise from the long walk around the neighborhood, and when we arrived at Kassie's house I was all pooped. We I went in everything was very unfamiliar to me... I mean I've never actually been in someone else's house before, but boy was I curious. I sniffed around and awful lot!Tehee. And I almost ate (Cheese) Kassie's hamster!! Yikes. After that we went out in Kassie's backyard which lucky had a fence. The grass was fresh and the yard was big. I ran like I never ran before, literally. We played a few games as well, it was one of the greatest times of my life... but again. The world is bigger then I think! =]] Thanks for reading !
