Arrival Story:
Pepito came to me from a breeder in Canal Fulton, Ohio. My friend and I went to pick him up and took turns driving or riding with him in our laps all the way home.

Bio:
As a result of Pepito coming to live with me, I've met tons of my neighbors and developed some wonderful friendships as a result. Pepito got his name from the character in the "Madeline" books by Ludwig Bemelmans. My niece, Emma (aka Emmazilla), loved one Madeline video in particular and in the story, the other little girls tease Madeline about secretly liking their neighbor, Pepito. One day Emma's grandpa was teasing her, as he is wont to do, and Emma searched her mind for the ultimate put-down -- the one phrase that would put Grandpa in his place and shut him up forever. She remembered the video...remembered the little teasing girls and arrived at THE verbal "piece de resistance." "YOU," she said, pointing at Grandpa with all of the hauteur a three-year-old can posess, "are GOOGLEY-EYED for Pepito!!!!!" Well, I repeated that story for weeks, and when it came to pick out a name for my new Boston Terrier puppy, I realized...what's more googley-eyed than a Boston Terrier? Hence, Pepito...the googley-eyed apple of MY less-googley eye. Pepito and I hang out with other Boston Terrier owners at the Woof! Board.
