Arrival Story:
Georgie was raised to be a guide dog for the blind. I raised her my senior year of high school. When she was 15 months old, she was turned in to the school for formal training, but we quickly learned that she has hip dysplasia. So, they sent her home (she would have come home anyway - she hated being away from her mom! Medical release just got her sent home faster). She's been with me ever since.

Bio:
Georgie is my little shadow. Where I go, she will follow. She makes sure to get her share of the pay checks by coming up with weird medical conditions (I could name them for days...) She's a great helper in raising other guide dog puppies. She is so tolerant and accepts each puppy that comes in to the house (eventually any way). Though she is mostly a home body, she loves to travel with me and do whatever it takes to not let me out of her sight.
