Arrival Story:
We bought Sach from a breeder, a few months after we put Mimi, our gentle black lab, to sleep. We were grieving over Mimi's death and didn't plan to bring another dog into our family for a while. But within 5 months, we were driving Sach home. She kept looking over my shoulder at her house as it kept getting smaller and smaller, and shaking the whole time. She must have been so scared, getting separated from her mom and brother and having to leave her future up to fate.

Bio:
She makes us laugh and has brought much joy to our lives. She is extremely independent and smart. She is bilingual (English and Japanese) and very expressive. She lets us know what she wants (by howling, pinching, etc). She's very demanding. Sachi was born with selective hearing. We've been told this is something she won't outgrow. We love her in spite of her defect.
