Treat stealing! He would extract a single treat from a bag or box and sneak it... then go and get another...

Arrival Story:
Dakota was adopted from a high-kill shelter in the Boston area in 1996. He'd been found running through the streets, covered in tar with a padlock and length of chain around his neck. He was a tough little guy.

Bio:
Puppy lost his battle with cancer on July 20, 2004. We were going to bring him in for surgery that morning, but he chose his time to go and died at home with us. We still think of Dakota and tell stories about him all the time. Our years with him were so special, and we know he is waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge. He was a true gentle giant, and a wonderful friend and companion. We'll always miss him.
