Peanut Butter

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:
-purebred-deaf -blind
-dog rescue

To sleep in someone's lap - to sleep, period. He is a real couch potato. He loves to dig for shrews, also, and he livens up for that activity.

Peanut absolutely does not like anyone to work on their lawn with noisy equipment. He is very annoyed when there's no lap available. He also hates when other dogs are playing roughly around him - then he yells at them like the hall monitor to quiet down.

Favorite Toy:
Stuffed gorilla that makes a gorilla noise.

Favorite Food:
Meat, cheese, hot dogs

Favorite Walk:
On the beach.

Best Tricks:
Peanut's trick is to refuse to "sit" when asked. He's very good at that. He also is quite adept at making a lot of noise - he snores all the time. He's the loudest little dog we've ever heard.

Arrival Story:
Peanut was 8 years old when his family decided they no longer wanted him. He was taken in by the Animal Rescue Team, and we met his sister at an agility training class. She found a home, but Peanut was still available, and we fell in love with him when we met him at his foster home.

Peanut was originally named Neville, but he just doesn't look or act like a Neville. He lives with his 3 brothers and 1 sister in Shrewsbury NJ in a house with a big yard and doggie doors. When he first joined our family, he had a lot of big changes - we gave him a new name, he was neutered, and he had 12 teeth removed due to bad gum disease. Poor Peanut has thankfully had an uneventful life since then.
