Dog Days

it's been a while!

Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I have been here! Mommy has been hogging the computer!
Not much has happened - moved to a new place that has a smaller yard than the last place. Not much space to dig grrrrr. Since my play area is smaller, I have started coming into the house more often. My owners don't mind! I'm a good girl and don't tear up the furniture.
I go to a fenced in dog park close by and meet all my best buddies everyday! It's awesome!! The weather has been weird lately so I have not gone everyday but that's ok.

my mommy has been really busy so I have not been able to update here in a long time.

we have new neighbors. they have 2 doggies that bark all the time! at first I thought it was fun... and now I'm used to it and more relaxed.

I need to go have my puppy beauty sleep now hehe

I haven't updated in a long while. Oops!
my owners have been very busy and stuff. They've been letting me play in the house alot more now! I like laying on the carpet and chewing my bone treats! I also like laying on the couch! I had to get my yearly shots the other week. I didn't mind the shots themselves but I didn't like getting weighed. I had to be still and stand on this scale! Now I have this special dry food that I have to eat once a week because my teeth have stuff on them and my owners don't want them to rot. The special food isn't that bad! They're huge pieces tho but I crunch into them and break them into smaller pieces and eat them! They're yummy!! AROOO!!
My owners keep saying this coming weekend is Easter and they have 4 days off. That means I get to be with them for 4 whole days!! I'm a happy girl! :)

sprinklers!

sprinklers are evil! mommy was out watering the trees in the backyard and brought out the sprinklers. I've never seen these weird things on ever before. I love drinking fresh running water and so I went up to one of the sprinklers and it turned on!! AHHHH!! I didn't like that at all! So I told it off and barked and howled at it. That ought to teach it!!
EVIL EVIL!!!

beach day!!

It's another Saturday! I got a bath today from mommy (GRR!) and went to the beach with daddy! It's getting warmer here because summer is approaching - and that makes me a sleepy puppy.

yay it's the weekend it's the weekend!!! that means I get to spend lots of time with my owners :)
Sunday is Halloween but mommy says we don't celebrate it much here :-
I've been a bit of a guard doggie lately heehee last night my mommy went to bed early and I slept in my crate next to her bed and the bedroom door was closed (daddy was still awake trying to fix mommys computer) and when he came in later on, I howled loudly and viciously at the intruder! Once I knew who it was, I wagged my tail and tried to say sorry. I've done this once before to him.. he was in he living room and it was dark (mommy went to bed early again) and he came in and I got mean, I bared my teeth and everything. I needed to guard mommy!! I love my owners :)

bath time

I just got a bath from mommy. I hated it!! I tried to get out of the tub and she kept making me stay in there - horrible I tell ya!
Then she put that funky smelling medicine on me that keeps fleas and ticks away (Frontline). She makes me stay still for that, but all I want to do is roll around.
Then she let me outside! AHHHH it felt so good to roll around in the grass and race around the yard heehee

Yesterday I met another beagle on my walk! Her name is Ella and she's 4 months old. She's alot younger than me! She was really shy, but I was very excited to meet another doggy :)

The weather has been cold then hot the next day, so when it's warm I just lay on the patio outside and it's nice...mmmm warmness.

I like grass!

Today my owners decided to garden. I was helping by grabbing the weeds as they were being pulled out, and running around the yard with it.
I love when my owners are home spending time with me!! They've been home yesterday, today and will be tomorrow. I'm glad they don't have to leave me home tomorrow like they usually do. It's some kind of holiday so they can stay home with me all day :)
They made roast chicken tonight MY FAVORITE!!! I smelled it baking and went insane!! After they ate their dinner, they gave me some! I was in my own little world then! Now I'm exausted.
Time for my puppy sleep.

This weekends adventures...

Yesterday when my mommy took me for a walk, we were walking down the block and I spotted some colorful balloons for a childs birthday party. I didn't like the look of these weird looking circle things that were blowing in the breeze so I stopped and growled at them. My hair stood up everywhere and mommy was laughing at me. She kept trying to get me closer to them so I knew they weren't dangerous, but I didn't want to go! then I started barking at them! weird things!!
I love the smell of freshly cut grass!! so many smells...
Today on my walk with mommy, I kept laying on everyones lawns heehee
Mommy brought out some bird food for the birds that fly into our yard and I try and sneak up on. I decided that bird food was MINE! alllll mine!! yum yum! no matter if I have my own food, no..I want the birds food!

On another note: I've been exchanging messages with Baylee - one of my pup pals. Baylee, Oreo, Cayce, Magick and Maya live in Florida where the hurricanes are. I'm keeping them in my puppy thoughts - I hope they all stay safe!!
And, on the 23rd was Sydney's 7th birthday! :) she's another pup pal who lives in Hawaii where my mommy is from! how cool!

where's spring?

The day before yesterday, it was very warm and beautiful!! I laid outside allll day catching some sun :)
Then yesterday it was warm when my owners left for work in the morning, and then in the afternoon it got rainy. *pout* I still tried to play outside in the rain but just decided to go into my room and stay there. couldn't play outside anymore.
Today it wasn't much better. cold and cloudy but oh well. guess spring will be here sometime in the near future where it's just warm.
I have found out that I like chasing big flies and moths and eating them!! they keep me busy for a bit.

time to go sleepies for this puppy! :)

I just joined last night - hoping to make some pup pals!
Mommy has a LiveJournal and one of her friends on there has her pets registered here. Hope I can find them.
Today is beautiful outside! I've been laying in the sun :) it's so warm! yesterday I went to the beach and ran alot, I slept really well last night!
Think I'm going to get taken for another walk today. I like to sniff around - especially freshly cut grass. I also like sniffing daisies.

I'm going to lay back out in the warm sun until Mommy takes me for another walk.
