Arrival Story:
Corey girl is a very special girl. She had been horribly abused by her previous owners. When I brought her home 3 years ago she was skinny and mean! Her foster home had told me that she could NEVER be around other dogs, cats or children. She had heart worms and ALOT of aggression towards just about everyone and everything. After several months of patience, love, & medicine - she's become a very sweet and loving dog. She likes being around kids, has many dog friends and even had a kitty cat as a brother. (see Charlie @ http://www.catster.com/?73486) Rescuing her is one of the smartest and most rewarding things I've ever done. It just goes to show you that a 2nd chance was all she needed!

Bio:
My mommy had been wanting a dog for quite sometime. At first, she was considering a daschund because that's what she grew up with. But my daddy grew up with german shepherds, but wanted to wait until Charlie passed away before getting one. (yeah, right) Anyway, my previous owner was a lady cop who's boyfriend was very mean to me. :-( She had named me "Kia" but I never liked that name. When my mommy heard my story and that I was staying in a foster home for dogs she rescued me immediately. Daddy wasn't too happy about it - until he saw me. Daddy renamed me "COREY" - (which is irish for chosen one) and I've answered to it ever since. I'm the luckiest girl in the word to have such an awesome family who loves me sooooooo much!! *prefers to sleep under the bed*enjoys spending time with her dog friends*still has her dew claws*
