My son, Matthew had always wanted a dog, but Mom is allergic. When Matthew was 13 we did some research and found Schnauzers to have little dander and did not shed. We got Anna when she was 7 weeks old. She brought sooo much love into our family. Couldn't imagine life before having Anna. With Matthew leaving for college in 2002 & Mom having cervical spine surgery in 2003 & again in 2004, Anna has been Moms reason to get up in the morning & reason to go to bed at night! She is truely a God sent blessing!
Anna is an AKC registered miniature Schnauzer. We've had so many people want us to breed her because of her light coloring & wonderful dissposition, but we had her spade as a pup. Mom worked full time at the time,& was afraid the puppies (if we had them) would come when no one was home. Plus we love Anna sooooo much, we didn't want to jeoprodize her health or wonderful personality.

Anna got to come home for the weekend. We played, went to the park and cuddled. Mon we took her for her surgery. My heart is broken. When the Dr. opened her up, her stomach and liver were full of cancer. He didn't look beyond that. We were there waiting for good news of a removeable tumor, but........Thanks to everyone for your friendships, thoghts, prayers and kind words. Thanks especially to DaleBo, for being such a good neighbor friend, and to his Mom, Gail for helping with my page, as well as a good friend!

Hi everyone, it is with heavy heart that I request prayers for Anna. We got home form AZ on Friday. Sunday(Mothers Day) we woke up to Anna vomiting. She wouldn't drink or eat ANYTHING even biskies, so we toook her to the ER. She was diagnoed with pancreatitus. We transferred her to our vet on Mon. & Tues, she got to come home, only to go back on Thursday, again VERY sick. They took x-rays Mon tha didn't look too bad, However, they retook them Fri. and showed a mass on or about her pacrease. She gets to come home today for the weekend to spend quality time with her loved ones. Mon she is going back to the vet for surgery. If it is removeable, they will, but if it is cancer through-out, they won't wake her from the surgery. She has been a fighter thru the diabetes and cushings disease, but now has this to deal with. She is my baby and was there for me when I had 2 spine surgeries, so I will do whatever I can to save her, but..... I can't be so selfish as to let her suffer. My tears are too thick to see thru, so I will keep you posted. Please PRAY for us! Thank you!

Hello to all my furrends and wuved ones! Hope everyone had a very HAPPY EASTER!!!! I was a good girl and did as my Mom said and did NOT chase the Easter Bunny. I found out that Easter is a Blessed day even without chasing that bunny and getting into trouble, so I'm glad that I didn't disobey and do it anyway!!!om took me to the vet, Dr. Jerry, today and we received great news! My adrenal tumor doesn't seem to be getting any larger, so therefor my cushings disease seems to be under control. Because of this, the insulin dose that I have been on for some time now is regulating my diabetes rather well. Everything seems to be under control. The only slightly negative news is the fact that due to my diabetes, my eyes are getting cloudy, causing me to lose some vision, which is very common with diabetes in animals as well as humans.Dr. Jerry says that its not progressing too rapidly, considering my age, so my family is thrilled with all of his reports. So, thanks again to all of you my furrends for your love, support and prayers. I am looking forward to the snow staying gone and spring weather around the corner so I can go to the park more and play outside! Bark to you all later!!!
