Her Mom (me); walks; treats and a very structured lifestyle (same thing, same time, everyday).
Pet-Peeves:
Sharing my attention with Brooke Lynn, who I adopted when I volunteered for IMPS, at which time Emme was 3 and used to being an only dog. She doesn't believe she is a dog and doesn't really care for other dogs and is a one person dog, ME only.
Favorite Toy:
Milk bone stuffed baseball w/squeaker and ropes on each end (but she only has about 100 toys...so sometimes she changes her mind!
Favorite Food:
ANYTHING; besides top brand kibbles and occassional treats, she loves just about any people food and her favorite is TOMATOES!
Favorite Walk:
ANYWHERE~ but not if other dogs are walking the same route.
Best Tricks:
Tricks?? One, Emme can "round up" Brooke Lynn is she gets away and always brings her home. It's unbelievable but true. I just ask her "where is Brooke" - go get her" and a little while later, here they both come!
Arrival Story:
I purchased Dunlap's Teeny Emme from a breeder in Tampa, FL. At the time, I had just lost my last MinPin after he was hit by a car & killed instantly. Some people wait to get another dog, but I could not imagine my life without the little "click, click, click" of toenails excitedly greeting me at the door, sleeping with me, and being my "child"', as I never had any children. Emme helped me through me grieving process, is now 4.5 yrs. old and is not a "runner", as most Pins are, so I don't worry so much about another "accident". I would be lost without her.
Bio:
Unfortunately, the breeder I purchased Emme from was trying to breed very small, unstandard size MinPins and at age 6 mos., the vet realized that her back legs were deformed and Teeny Emme has undergone 4 leg surgeries, and now has two metal back legs. While she can run, she cannot jump up like my other Pins and is now scared to death of the vet.
