Arrival Story:
Buddy was a run-away, picked up by animal control when he got hit by a delivery truck. He was taken to the vet's and then placed in the pound. Small Paws Rescue organization saved him and put him in a foster home until he could be adopted. I located Buddy on-line and passed the adoption requirements. We fell in love right away and Buddy still says that getting hit by that truck was the best thing that could have happened!

Bio:
Buddy loves to be held and cuddled and tickled. He sleeps in my arms and snores peacefully. But he's no sissy. He's also a rough and tumble, playful pup. Smart too!

What a great Christmas present. I just got invited to join the Doodle Lounge. I feel this is a great honor and am proud to be amongst some of the cutest dogs ever. I am proud to be a Bichoodle in the Doodle Lounge. ARF!!

Greetings from Arizona!

A lot has happened since my last entry. We moved from foggy, cool Berkeley, California to sunny, warm Sun City, Arizona.
I like it here now that its a bit cooler. You just don't go out for walkies when its 120 degrees! We gotta watch out for coyotes, though. Lots of them live on the golf courses all around the city and sometimes we see them in the yard, looking for rabbits and maybe little dogs.
My "mom" is on sabbatical and that means we have lots more time together until she returns to her job. This is good for me. As you can see from my more recent pictures, I get to sleep-in, take donkey cart rides (geez, the things you gotta do to make people happy!) and generally hang around the house, playing or eating or sleeping. Life is good!

Vote for Dog Parks for Small Dogs!

There is a big campaign in the SF Bay Area to have a little space of every dog park cordoned off just for us small guys (under 20 pounds). Isn't that a cool idea?!
I'm frightened of bigger dogs, but I never let them know it. Instead I act fierce and bark in their faces to try to get them to go away. Mom says that's not the best idea and that it would be better to just ignore them. She's trying to help desensitize me, whatever that means. All I know is that I get lots of treats and praises from her whenever we see a big dog coming.
Anyway, it would be swell not to have to encounter the big dogs. That could happen if we littler guys had our own territory. I like dogs my own size. Little dogs are cool.
Maybe you'll let me know what you think?
