We adopted Mercedes from the Brazos County Animal Shelter at the end of October in 2002. She was the cutest one in a litter of puppies-and we got there just in time... she was one of the last ones left! She came to live with us, and we've been one big happy family ever since. We picked the name Mercedes after the band "Hey Mercedes"... but are always coming up with the strangest little nick names for her such as: Meche (me-she), booboo, Gubby, gumshoe, etc. She answers to Mercedes or Meche the most.
Mercedes was adopted from the Brazos County Animal Shelter in Bryan, Texas. We lived in College Station with her from then until May 2003 when we moved to Waco. Our next move will be in June 2005 when we move to Huntsville, Texas to attend Sam Houston State University. Mercedes will be coming with us, of course!!
She's the best dog in the world! She's so loving and trusting. It was easy to train her and all you have to do is call once and she comes running. She never ceases to make us smile or laugh. Mercedes loves to bark at other dogs, but when they come to her - she's very suspicious of them. She's so spoiled, she hates for her parents to give any other dogs attention!
Mercedes is a very valued member of our family- we can't imagine life without her.
