There is an officer who comes into my work allot and his daughter happens to work at an animal rescue organization, he happened in one day and asked if anyone knew of anybody that could take in a little chihuahua, his daughter and the ladies at the shelter were just beside themselves trying to find Sandy (former name) a home. Well I knew someone in my family would want her as we have always been long time chihuahu fans and her story was absolutely tragic so I said IM IN thinking I would give her to my sister but she was so darn cute and so absolutley gloriously evil I just couldn’t part with her. The story I got is that she belonged to a woman for 10 years and got the boot when she got a new boyfriend, who knows. I don’t think she was ever abused in any way but definitely neglected. Shes fit in well with the program here, shes owned us for over a year now and we are pretty much all whipped into shape by now.
Bio:
The third week I had Little Dog I got a frantic call from a neighbor, she had jumped out the second story window and was found wounded walking down the street. Hysterical I zoomed home and found her Littleness broken and bloody and raced her to the 24 hour ER vet, when she was cleaned it was discovered all she had was a broken toe! Little Dog did have prior injuries though when we got her, she had a broken sternum, lord only knows how but she’s also got a broken tail and as a result of her jump a slight limp. She doesn’t act like she was ever mistreated and she’s not timid at all - we just figure she’s a stunt doggie.
