Favorite Toy: Anything that squeeks and is soft Favorite Food: What ever I am eating and especially cheese Favorite Walk: anywhere Best Tricks: she can sit up and beg and "speak" on command, she can also say "my momma" and "abbie" Arrival Story: I found Blackie in a shelter. The day I found her I was told if I wanted to adopt her, I had to be back there the very next day when they opened, well, I got there 39 minutes early and while they were doing the paper work for me to adopt her, there were 10 - 15 calls about other people wanting to adopt her. I felt very lucky to have gotten there so early. Bio: Unfortunaley Blackie has passed away. On Nov. 7, 2012 ... Blackie had to be put to sleep. She was 18 years old and lived a full and happy life. She was ready to go and her Mommy didn't want her to suffer any so Mommy did the only thing she knew to do to keep her baby girl from being in any pain. It was very very hard, but, she is no longer in pain.
Her Mommy is still very upset and cries daily.
Mommy will miss Blackie for the rest of her life. She was mommies daughter and best friend.
