Nearing the holidays!

Well here I am in November. Thanksgiving just passed and I got some real goodies from my family. This is my Disney hat that my family got me from Disneyworld! Now they are getting ready for Christmas, so I am sure it will be hectic in our house...I really want some new toys and treats from Santa! Maybe I will get a nice stocking filled with treats, since I have been a good basset! Here is wishing all the furiends a great holiday season...Daisy..

A day in the life

Well I am fully adjusted to my new family. I love to go for long walks and drives in the car...I usually go in the car to pick up the kids at school sometimes. I love to eat! I get brushed and cleaned alot! My family thinks I am a bit smelly, so my ears get cleaned alot! I like Dentabones, sometimes Greenies but not as much..I love my treats. I have developed my howls and barks especially when another dog or cat passes by!..My mommy got me howling which is very funny. If a bunny passes thru look out, wabbit I am going after you!

My new home

I came to my new human family in Aug of 2004. They discovered me online at a beagle rescue. My other family lost their home and sadly didn't have a place for me and my other basset friend. The companion was 9 and adopted right away. My new family called the rescue on Sat, and Sunday she called back to my new potential family and that following Wed we all met at PetSmart to get to know each other! I was walked around and took into PetSmart where my new family bought me all kinds of new goodies..A comfy bed, toys, chewies, brush, and most important of all FOOD.. I got to drive home in my new car and was promptly bought into my new home and given the tour where I proceeded to find my way around. I got lots of walks from my new family and I was immediately loved. I am so glad I got a new home and the chance to love a new family..
