Arrival Story:
Zero was the runt of her litter, born with prick ears and short legs. The breeded did not even plan on showing her to me. Zero ran out of the door before the breeder could catch her and ran to me. I asked the lady what she planned on doing with the puppy and she replied "because of her birth defects, I'm having her put down". I told the lady I wanted to buy the puppy and handed her the money. She told me that she would not charge me anything for the puppy and warned me that she would probably have a life full of health problems. At this point I was so mad at this lady for not even wanting to give this puppy a chance at life. I insisted on paying for her, gave the lady the money and left with my new puppy. Zero has been such a wonderful part of my life and a truly remarkable dog. We had a cancer scare in 2004 and had a tumor removed from her head. She has fully recovered and other than that one incident, has had no other health problems.
