Arrival Story: It was tax day and once again I found myself RUSHING to the post office at midnight. This year was different though because on my way there, in the middle of a normally busy 6 lane street I saw this little white dog just sitting there looking at the pretty lights coming his way. He didn't move and so I stopped the car and got out. Then he got scared and ran to hide behind a bush next to this vacant lot. I parked my car and called him over. Nothing, he just looked at me like I couldn't see his big butt sticking out of the bush. I tried it again, this time in the softest, sweetest baby voice and he came over right away wagging his tail. Now I could see that he was a puppy about 4 months old. Looked like a lab or something. I picked him up and took him home with me that night. I placed flyers in the area, contacted the pound but didn't hear anything from anyone so about 1 month later my mom figured she'd keep him. My mom had him for about 10 years. She didn't socialize him and the kids next door throwing rocks and sticks at him when she was at work didn't help either. Now in his old age he lives with me and Honey. My mom's new dog - Argy - kept attacking him so the decision was made to bring him here. HE's a HAPPY DOGGIE now, his new roommate Honey actually cuddles with him in his bedroom.
