Quick Bio:

Birthday:

Likes:
Playing with my sister Dorian! Going for car rides! Swimming! Going to the beach! Running and playing at the dog park! Camping with my boyfriend "Dieter"!

Pet-Peeves:
What's a "pet peeve"--can I eat it?

Favorite Toy:
All toys are my favorite--I love things that squeak or talk and that I can rip all stuffing out of after a good game of tug of war with my sisters!

Favorite Food:
I love all food, but I don't really taste it because I tend to inhale it so quickly!

Favorite Walk:
I love to walk on the beach!

Best Tricks:
Tricks? It was hard enough just learning sit, wait, leave it, offies and down! Now I gotta learn tricks too?!

Arrival Story:
I came to the Oregon Humane Society when I was 8 months old. I had been transferred from the Prineville Humane Society in Central Oregon and my paperwork said I came from their "Euthanasia Room" (whatever that is?!). My parents came to OHS on the 4th of July when the shelter was closed, just a day after I had gotten there. Since they volunteer there, they were just getting a lot of dogs exercised that day and my dad picked me to go play with! I was skin and bones, but crazy as ever and full of energy. My dad wanted to adopt me immediately and take me home and mom surprised him the next day and adopted me! My parents picked me up and I got in the car with my 2 new brothers and 1 sister (I have 2 sisters now!) and we all went to the beach (it was my first time)! It was a great day!

Bio:
My parents say I'm "insane" (?) and "crazy" (?) a lot. I wiggle non-stop because I'm always wagging my tail and I'm always really happy. I get over-excited really easily and like to jump up on people to kiss them whenver I can. People don't always seem to like that (maybe because I'm really tall and weigh 85 lbs?), but my attitude about everything in life is that if someone doesn't like me or something I'm doing, I should just keep doing it and keep on trying because I know someday I will convince them! I really love playing with other dogs and my little sister Dorian and I are the bestest of friends--we kiss each other a lot too. I really love to snuggle under the sheets with my parents whenever I can, too--but only when I get really tired, which is hardly ever!

Deep Thoughts by Bean the Hound Doggles

YUCK!

So, tonight was a terrible night! We were going along fine...Mom and Dad were in the office with the hallway door closed to keep us dogs away from the cats that were roaming around. I happened to sniff out something that smelled REALLY good in Dad's briefcase that was partway open near me (I do have the best nose, I must say). It was this plastic round bottle thingy and I had to work really hard to chew through the lid to get to the little hard pills/candy inside. When Mom and Dad opened the door, they got really upset and started acting really weird--they took me and my two sisters, Dorian and Apple, outside with this brown bottle of yucky tasting stuff (they called it Hydrogen Peroxide or something like that?) and made us all drink some of it. Then we had upset tummys and lost our cookies. It was NOT fun! I guess I shouldn't have gotten into Dad's stuff after all..but how was I to know it was medicine? It sounded like and tasted like candy to me! At least we didn't have to go to the emergency room...that would have really been the pits. Oh well--I wonder what new thing I can get us into tomorrow, hmmmm.
