I love going for walks anywhere, but I especially love the beach at the river!

Arrival Story:
I was found as a stray 8 week old puppy in Eastern Oregon. A policeman found me and took me to a shelter nearby. I stayed there for a week and then I went for a long ride with a nice lady who became my Auntie Denise. She took me and my brothers and sisters to Portland! Everyone else got dropped off at another shelter, but Auntie Denise had already asked my mom to foster me when I got to town because I had a little cold. I went straight to Auntie's house to a party and my mom held me the rest of the evening. By the time I got to my new foster home, my name had become Dorian because I was such a serious little girl (I was just scared) and mom thought that was a respectable and "serious" name for a dog. My foster parents became my parents two short weeks later, after they discovered how much I tired out my big sister Bean.
Bio:
I'm a very "soft" girl--I'm often afraid of my own shadow and am pretty timid, but once in a while I get my confidence behind me. I LOVE to play with other dogs and I like meeting other people usually, though sometimes I can be shy at first. I play hard and love to roughhouse with my best friend and sister Bean, and sometimes with my other sister, Apple. I also love snuggling in bed or on the couch with my parents. I'm a real sweetheart and I'm very gentle.

Lately I've come up with some great innovative ideas to make stuff that's not really mine turn into toys!
Dogs, listen up! Look around your house...see anything besides your regular old toys that looks interesting?
Well, here's what I have come up with--the fleece blanket my mom uses when she's sitting on the couch? Yeah, that makes a GREAT game of tug of war if you have a sister or brother to play with you, trust me!
Oh guess what else is fun...if you have an area rug or like an oriental rug...flip over a corner if you can, and try to separate this backing stuff from the carpet, plus if you can get one thread started, you can start shredding it apart in long rows--it's sooooo fun!
Oh yeah, one word of caution...DON'T GET CAUGHT LIKE I DID! Mom was so mad at me, but the fun I had was so worth it!
