Arrival Story:
Maria was born on halloween. Jamie and I stoped by and saw her the very day she was born!! Elvia said we could have any puppy we wanted... we're really glad becasue Marie is the best little weenie dog ever!
Bio:
Marie was brought into this world and was named "Littlefoot" after everyone's favorite Land Before Time character. Somehow she became Marie/Maria for day to day things, and Littlefoot for when she's acting up.
Marie's dad was a mini doxie, and her mum was a standard. Marie is what is comonly known as a tweenie (in between the average weight for minis and standards).
Right before I had my son, Marie had a litter of beautiful puppies. When I brought Beau home she was very mindful of him. If he cried she would come running to me and let me know. She's a good mama, but a better baby! She would rather be snuggled and loved on, but she patiently lets Beau hug her and "play".
Marie is such a good dog, but she does have her foibles. She loves underwear, and can eat through them faster than lightening. She tends to stockpile them under the bed and wait for opportune moments to eat them. She is also fond of Kitty Litter (Or Kitty Krunchies, as we call them), socks, and diapers. She has outgrown this somewhat, but we still crate her when we're gone, for her own protection!

Last night mommy and daddy went to play at their friends house and Simon and Miranda and Evie were there and we got to run around and fight over toys. It so much fun. Plus all those other humans that were there kept holding me and petting my ears and telling me how pretty I was! Mommy and the other people kept talking about a bark park... yeah they said that today we are going to a bark park, and then Mama said "Marie, you wanna go to the Bark Park?" and I got all excited and started running aroung and barking. I don't know why, but she got me very excited.

Stretch. Yawn. Wag tail.
Got up around 8:15 to go potty, but I was still sleepy. When I came back upstairs my Mommy decided to make the bed! What was she thinking? How am I supposed to sleep in it all day with it made? *sigh* I decided to make a little nest on my stripey pillows.
Mommy says that tonight a lady is coming over to see if we can get a brother or sister for me! Mommy says she needs a four-leg that she can run with in the morning, so I don't think it will be a weenie dog. I wonder what it will be?
Naptime again!
