So, my family took me on their extended weekend trip to Cape Cod instead of putting me in the kennel. I was soooo excited! Normally Cammy is the one that travels with them (being travel-sized and all). I met Coco and we mostly got along and I got to go running with mom and hang out with everyone. The weather was great (no humidity!), the skies were blue, and I was basking in it all. Until they stuck me on a boat. Everyone was so excited for the baby's first boat ride with his Zade, but no one asked me about how I felt about getting in that thing! It wasn't so bad leaving the harbor. The slow pace was okay. But then they took off! They must have been going 100 mph! I had to cling on for dear life! I believe I left my claw marks on the deck... And then the ocean got rougher and that's when I turned green. I was NOT meant to be a sea dog. I tried to hold it in, but then the dry heaves came. By then we were heading back in from the "lovely" ride out to look at Martha's Vineyard. I don't know how the baby slept through all that! But let me tell you, I could not be happier to hit dry land! Next time Cammy can happily go along for that ride!

So, mom and dad put in a fenced in area for us dogs to run around in. It's very exciting. I can go in and out from the house by my own choice now!
I've started a small project. I am going to dig to China. I know it seems like such a lofty goal, but I know I can do it! (Although, mom and dad are not very happy about my new found joy...) So just you wait everybody! I'm going to be the first dog to dig her way to China! I just have to figure out how to hide that hole from mom and dad...
Happy digging!

Yesterday was my first day of obedience school. I was very nervous at first. There were all these other dogs and puppies that I never met before. I barked a little, and mom did not like that.
I worked on "heel" and sitting at the "halt." I'm a little slow to sit! And even though mom tried to give me my favorite peanut butter filled pretzel treats, I was too nervous to eat! But she gave me lots of pets and told me I was a good puppy!
I learned how to do a "u-turn" and we even worked more on "sit," "stay," and "down."
I would like school better if we didn't have to ride in the car to get there. I get car sick and drool a lot. Car rides aren't so bad when my brother and sisters are with me, but they don't need to go to school.
Well, I have to go practice what I learned.
Bye!
