Arrival Story:
Lady was a rescue - a heartbreaking story. She was found in a field with her five babies. She had obviously been beaten, starved, and was quite a sick little girl. She was heartworm postive and her intestines were a mess. Thanks to a wonderful woman - a vet named Dr. Kim Miller Lady is alive and well today. Two other vets had looked at lady and didn't have any hope for her, nor did they find out the problem with her intestines. She was almost dead when AR*RUFF (Arkansas Rescuing Unwanted Furry Friends) got their hands on her. Thanks to the compassion of Karen Ragsdale who was determined Lady would live she pressed on until finding Dr. Miller. Karen knew Lady had a will and desire to LIVE!!

Bio:
When Lady's picture came across my email I immediately contacted Karen. We were losing my precious Father-In-Law to cancer as my husband's 40th birthday approached. One look at Lady's face and I knew she would be a welcomed addition to our home. Once again we needed a pet even more than she needed us. She has the face of an angel and is the sweetest girl in town. She's our 50 pound lap dog. And what a load she is. We're greatful to have her in our lives. God's gifts come in so many different forms.
