I met some new Pets last night. Actually I met them last weekend at the adoption stand, and tonight they came over to play and visit.

I was sooo shy to start! New Pets can be scary for me, and I have been let down by other Pets before. Just this time last year, I was a still happy-go-lucky pup, yet to be hit by a car, ignored almost to death, and end up at the kill shelter.

I stayed up on the porch and let them, and their dog sniff the yard for a while. They fed me a few treats and I started warming up. The female Pet started playing with a toy and I couldn't stand it any more and went down to check it out.

Binger is the boss. Funny, she looks like a 3/4 sized, female version of Manny! She sniffed the perimeter of the yard, marking where she was going to be, before checking me out. She sniffed, did a test growl, and I flipped. Well, I do like a strong woman in my life! After a while, everydog got a taste of what we might play like, with Binger playing the role of the nucleus in the center, while I was the wild proton zooming around, and around the center.

Her Pets were both very nice. Betcha I don't even have to take them to formal training. They have even had a special needs dog before!

We are all going slow and not rushing into anything, I will bark more later...
