Bio:
SadieAnn was diagnosed with an incurable cancer in June of '03...Purdue University told me to take her home and let her die...today she is thriving due to a wonderful man (Michael Durkin) who treats her with traditional Chinese Medicine..she's my miracle dog...Sadie is struggling to get up off the floor these day, and manuver steps, but mommy helps her every step of the way. She's also losing her eyesight. Darn, why do dogs have to get old so quick?? I have been so blessed to have this dog. I will probably have many dogs throughout my life, but this little girl will remain the special one.

After my friend Deb sent her kids' dogster pages, I figured I'd better update mine. SadieAnn has really struggled the past few months. Her eyesight is really waning, and she struggles to get up off the floor, once she's down. It's also hard for her to do steps, but mommy helps her, always.
She's such a little trooper, still has spunk, and when it's just mommy and her, she comes back to life. I really believe Sadie suffers with depression at times, because of her handicaps.
This is just the best little brown dog in the world, and it just kills me to watch her grow older.
Anyone reading this, please say a special prayer for my girl, that each day will be a blessing, and that she won't ever suffer.
Hugs to all,
Janice and SadieAnn

A couple of months ago, SadieAnn had a "spell"...(she's 13 1/2 now)....we don't know if it was a slight stroke, or what. She stumbled around for a couple of weeks, but has now fully come out of it. She's really struggling to get up now, after laying for a while, because of the arthritis in her right hip, but once she's up, she's unstopable.
I wish this dog could live to be 50...she's one in a million.
Till next time.

someone visited my site and suggested that my mommy write a diary entry....I was diagnosed with an incurable cancer in June of 2003 at Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine, one of the best facilities in the country....my mommy just refused to "take me home and let me die......so she took me to a man in Chicago who practices traditional Chinese Medicine....we started our treatment a few days after the Purdue visit, and still continue to take a few things......It's been over a year and a half, and I have no signs of cancer, and I run and rip with my brothers and sisters, like I'm half my age...if anyone would be interested in my treatment, please leave my mommy a message.
Hugs,
SadieAnn
