Arrival Story:
Kilo came to us after losing our beautiful 10 1/2 year old Golden boy, Cosmo in October 2006. We waited as long as we could but the house felt too big without a giant Golden to trip over. Our son, 9 1/2 at the time, really missed his dog brother, too.
We found Kilo at a beautiful Golden Retriever paradise in the Shenandoah Mountains of Virginia. There, he shared a home with about 50 Aunts, Uncles, and siblings. (see pictures). He was so big and fluffy and lovable...we couldn't resist.
To this day, he is just a big old luvable guy. Everyone thinks he's so much older than his 15 months...an old dog's soul.
