Arrival Story:
When our cat, Tiger, passed away, Sophie got really lonely at home. We decided to get her a companion. We browsed through a bunch of shelters online and saw a few good candidates at the Silicon Valley Humane Society. We thought we were going to adopt a boy since Sophie tends to get along well with them. I wasn't even looking at the female dogs. Then I saw Lulu and fell in love. Hubby still had reservations since she's a girl. We decided to meet her anyway and see how she gets along with Sophie. Because she's so tiny, I sat down on the floor at the meeting room waiting for her. As soon as she walked in, she came over and sat on my lap. My heart just melted. It was good that her and Sophie got along or else I would have been heartbroken. We're all so happy to have her in our family.
