Arrival Story:
My oldest son found Gao & his sister Daisy in a cardboard box underneath a Banana tree along a lane in Nantou City, Taiwan. He was only about 2 months old and had a broken rear leg and had been dumped by his owner. My son brought him to a vet and had him treated. Daisy was adopted quickly but poor Gao sat at the vet's for 3 months. When I went to Taiwan for my son's wedding, I decided to bring Gao back to the states to see if he could find a home here, but we fell in love with him and he now is a member of our family. He traveled for 22 hours in a plane but is finally home. My son is thrilled- he would have kept him but he already has 4 dogs & a cat he has rescued, so Gao needed his own home.

Bio:
Gao is a stubborn little boy and has asserted his dominance over our other 2 dogs, even though he's the smallest. He looks at me with his wrinkled forehead and I melt. And he has Chinese eyes, which is cool since he originated in Taiwan.
